The call that comes at the right time

Missing your mother’s voice during your lunch break, then remembering she is asleep. Your family calling for a celebration while you are at work. Time differences quietly take calls away. This tool gives them back: it finds the hours when both of you are free.

Why the gap changes in spring and autumn

Europe, the US and Canada move their clocks forward in spring and back in autumn, on different dates, while most countries in Africa, the Middle East and Asia never change their clocks. So the gap with home moves by an hour twice a year. The tool uses the official time zone of each city, so the hours are always right for the date.

Frequently asked questions

Why is there no common hour?

If the gap is large (Australia and West Africa, for example), your waking hours may not overlap. Widen your hours a little, or try early morning or late evening.

My family’s city is not in the list.

Choose the nearest big city in the same country. Most countries use one time zone, so the result is the same.

Is my choice saved?

The tool remembers your two cities on your device only, to save time next visit. Nothing is sent to us.

Does it handle half-hour time zones?

Yes. India, Nepal, Afghanistan, Iran and others are shown with their exact minutes.
