How a German CV is different
A Lebenslauf is a tidy table, not a long text: month/year on the left, job or degree on the right, newest first, ending with place, date and your signature. Do not include salary or religion; a photo, marital status and date of birth are optional and employers may not demand them.
Tips
Write titles and tasks in German, give language levels on the European scale (B1, B2…), mention recognition of your degree (anabin or ZAB), keep it to one or two pages, and send it as a PDF with a cover letter (Anschreiben).
A free formatting tool; check the German before sending.
